yes they are sensational numbers, but it is not a sensationalist announcement.
the numbers don't lie, and PIQ have been modest as usual in the way they report. no superlatives no sensationalising the facts.
it is just that the facts are sensational.
can't blame them for that.
and what a great visionary decision someone at PIQ made back in the day to focus on kidney disease markers over the many other health issues that they could have gone after.
I commend PIQ management and Richard for deliberately going after this particular health issue first within their practice.
if you analyse it, this was perhaps the most logical disease to go after, where there was a need, a gap and where a solution would have most value
I don't underestimate how significant that decision was when it was made.
IMHO it is only a matter of time before big pharma adopt and market this particular test.
this will open up obvious revenue streams for PIQ.
is it possible that the business model that PIQ decided on many years ago will also prove to be of equally great value?
I can't help looking at the big picture here, and wonder how soon PIQ can get other diagnostic tests to market after this one goes through successfully .
does the potential revenue from this expedite their options to taking other products to market?
does anyone care to get in the helicopter and get above the detail right now and discus the impact that the revenue stream from the kidney disease diagnostic test will have on the company and its future development of its other products?
how is this likely to unfold considering the other products in the pipeline?
I take my hat off to the leadership at PIQ for being so strategic, patient and calculating in the way they have developed things.
so many other company's would have crashed and burned when going through this journey. not PIQ, and that I put down to good
management, careful planning and sticking to a robust business's plan.
this in not cheer squad talk - this is a genuine admiration for the company and how they have managed their growth and product development.
I am a happy investor
