    Thank you. Very interesting. I was diagnosed with an eGFR of 45 some four years ago. Did a lot of research and I have managed to keep my eGFR in the high 30s range up until now. I know a lot of people who would benefit from taking this test because some kidney diseases can be hereditary. You can slow CKD down but you cannot "cure it" so the benefits of this specific test would be enormous. Changes to diet, more exercise, etc. does make a difference. I know for a fact that some doctors do not flag a low eGFR to patients until it gets to <30mmol/L by which time, I think, its too late and therefore dialysis is highly probable.
