Whilst I agree with certain aspects of your post, I see other aspects as a leap of faith.

I do agree that the diabetes problem is huge and represents a massive tailwind to companies in this space - that's why Im invested.

But the spin in savings made of USD 387bn over 10 years has a huge element of sensationalism - it's all about rubbish assumptions in, and out comes rubbish results. So where is the sensitivity analysis like, are we told this? What are the barriers to achieving widespread use of the kit? Why hasn't J&J signed up with a product with such potential exactly and any other big pharma in the mix? There are just a lot of bridges to cross yet.

The leap to revenues by applying a % royalty becomes fraught.

They were meant to have launched this product in the US, Mexico and Spain in 2018 and it hasn't got too far. Breakeven was close in 2018, it's not the case now. The linkup with Jansen also occurred in 2018, they're in the box seat to cut a solid deal, but 3 years have elapsed, and there's no deal to speak of. Noting their modelling studies are long out now.

And there should be no talk of another product when this one is not even kicked off - and when will this kickoff again? It's a huge question mark.
