I'm with you there! Makes sense to pause trading while the details of that are reviewed because there would be several people on both sides who know about it and could tell their mates to get in before it's too late etc
I have a feeling if it was something negative the ASX would just straight out suspend trading, issue the announcement as to why immediately, and await a response from CRO. This seems to be something the ASX needs to review extensively before releasing to market without there being a leaky ship...
