I struggle to understand how the exchanges are not able to trace who is pumping or dumping stocks. These brokers interface to the ASX. Isn't it possible to see where the volume is coming from which broker? And then who is buying/selling from that broker?
Surely everything can be traced if there are transparency frameworks in place?
