‘Pump and dump’ group targets IPO rocket Kuniko

The huge paper profits on offer from penny stock promotions are helping ASX meme stocks rocket under a barrage of attention from paid media, social media, and shadowy encrypted messaging groups.
On Thursday, shares in Norway-based battery metals explorer Kuniko Ltd rocketed as much as 370 per cent to $3.60 at 13-fold their initial public offer price of 20¢ after it listed just two days earlier. Kuniko announced on Thursday morning that geochemical samplings were under way at its projects in Norway.
