    Spot on .....as William Blake famously said “Hindsight is a wonderful thing - but foresight is better”

    Lots of not particularly useful observations in hindsight on this thread (from the non holders in particular)

    Which brings me to St James .....if it is them and their $15b that is exiting Magellan.....what is their foresight? - where is that $15b going now ?

    The simple fact that it’s exiting Magellan is what is doing the damage so to some extent where it’s going is irrelevant......but it would still be interesting to know where it’s going.

    Maybe now that the froth is seriously coming off a lot of the hot stocks Magellan’s more conservative portfolio of US big tech and cross sector multinationals will outperform in the next few years.....but St James ( if it is them) obviously don’t think so.

    It’s entirely possible that StJames are actually doing their investors a disservice pulling out of Magellan right now (the horse has bolted after all) but as is always the case with all investments - time will tell.
