man I dodged a massive bullet. Bought initially at $40. Bought heavily at $35, then managed to take a profit when I first sold. Rinsed this one 3 times always at profit, during a bear period.
but we’ll um went in on GQG $1.90, so that’s not really going any better.
Not sure why folks are selling down funds they are genuinely a really good investment.
Most listed funds average 10-20% returns to holders. That’s a great set and forget investment, way better than property, term deposits, and small caps.
And really the interest in this space is gunna heat up. So many of the baby boomers who are entering retirement all talk about managed funds, most consistent reliable returns and usually well outperform cash.
VAS is a prime example, 300% in 10 years.
Property is so overvalued, the yields are worthless, and my trendy data suggests rent prices a dropping. And probably not sure how much further prices can go TBH, an investment is the idea that it will provide income or go up in price
With the retirement boom a few years away stocks like MFG, VAS, CFG, PPT, MQG could be potential gold mines
