Financial Review:
Syrah trading paused following Tesla announcement. Trading in Syrah Resources has been paused after it made an announcement regarding an offtake agreement with Tesla. Syrah’s shares were up 23 per cent to $1.63 at the time of the announcement. The ASX has a history of querying announcements related to Tesla. In September 2020, the company paused trading in Jindalee Resources following an announcement related to Tesla’s Battery Day. In January, the ASX queried Core Lithium after its share price spiked following news its major shareholder Yahua had signed a five-year deal to supply lithium to Tesla.
