Trading halt is for the release of drilling results.
I think their hand has been forced. There must be a lot of resistance to the issuing of performance rights. Releasing the drilling results might be a way of limiting the damage. If the results are good (and I suspect they could be) an increased SP might help their cause. Still two weeks before the AGM and a lot of people are still to vote.
Let's hope the results are not bad.
