It is understood Lumos and its brokers have been quietly pitching fund managers for a while, although it is getting to the stage where it will need to pull the trigger on the deal if it is to get its capital injection. Sources reckon the shares are likely to be offered via an entitlement issue, which will ease a bit of the pain, pegged at 18¢.
