It costs $10/t to truck dirt 100km.
GMD material (including low grade stockpiles is 1.6g/t). Assuming 95% recovery = 0.05oz/t or $200/oz. Would obviously be lower if high grade the resource.
Given the Dacian mill should be very efficient per tonne IF kept fed with decent head grade material this math easily allows for a pretty economic solution.
Re SBM can see how this could make sense for both parties. GMD post DCN would be highly cash generative. Would allow the cashflow funding of the future Atlantic mines. Plus suspect would be decent SG&A and operational savings from having two operations right by each other.
