They took 10 days to drill 593m then another 21 minus casing/cementing and logging (take a week+ out etc) to drill 1428m. I don't see them suddenly tripling or whatever their penetration rate. You're right that the crew should have good hints before anyone else.. There should be drilling breaks in higher porosity formations.. the mudlogging should show something if it's actually working again etc etc. I just don't think they're suddenly drilling in one day what was previously taking 3-4 days. Could they be in the Pebbly Arkose? Sure. I just wouldn't bet much money they're in the Angwa target. I could be wrong, I'm not a sith, I don't deal in absolutes, but if something bad was currently known and I had to bet I'd put it on the Pebbly over the Angwa.
