The capital return component (3.8c then, 76c now) looks like the ultimate bait & switch. If the backtrack goes ahead I feel disappointed for new investors who bought in on that promise.
It looks to me like this pause is at the behest of ASX (it’s not a Co request for a halt) so perhaps whatever they are planning to release has raised questions and the US MD and chairman are still in bed.
