Hi this is my first post on the forum. Ive been a shareholder with RFG for just over 2 years. I have been reading the posts from yesterday's half year update and the current thread on the trading halt.
I feel there is alot of knowledge and experience on this forum so seek your guidance on the follo
wing.
Regarding the H123 update, if RFG didnt have to pay the $8mil as part of the ACCC settlement, wouldn't have the NPAT been about $7mil, about a 30% increase from last year? So in the next reportING we won't have this loss?
Regarding the trading halt. If you google AFR and RFG there is an article today about Wendy's looking for a franchise partner in Australia that mentions Collins Foods or RFG as possible options. I also note that Shaw and Partners in thier analyst reports have mentioned possible acquisition, as discussed in the 2021 AGM. Could the trading halt be linked to a CR for an acquisition or partnership with Wendy's?
