Webcentral is being labelled as a potential takeover target and the small technology group is understood to have attracted private equity interest.
Britain-based Oakley Capital is believed to be circling the $40m Australian listed company, and the suggestion is that it may be looking to pay for one of its divisions – potentially as much as $100m.
The halt request is as per Kyba's post above, so seems like Oakley Capital are buying a division rather than a full takeover.
