Thank you very much. That was very helpful. Actually, I should have known - the Origin board recommended the takeover, but it didn't happen, as shareholders voted against it.
I have tried to investigate the top twenty shareholders . From ASX announcements it seems that Catalyst Holdings, an entity of Trent Petersen,
still holds more than 7% of the shares , though it is not listed in the top twenty shareholders as provided by Iress. I wonder whether Petersen is beyond the drumming up of a takeover - does he want to get out completely? That last statement is total speculation.
