Yes, well I think Gameplanon's post (https://hotcopper.com.au/posts/71566555/single) offers the best insight into where the greatest immediate utility of AI is likely to be for PIL - most likely in streamlining the credit-lending process-chain that'll underpin the BizmoLoan end of the business - to make BizmoLoan scalable and profitable as quickly as possible.
It's no good encountering tremendous demand, huge numbers of applicants, for a product, if you can't follow through with rapid and reliable processing. Too much manual intervention slows the whole process down - and if you find those applicants but can't process them quickly, you obviously lose them.
Today's Announcement perhaps indicates that the Company has found the right processing ingredients for onboarding borrowers, AND wants to bring that AI into the fold.
Anyway, a happy thought for the Silly Season - particularly if the AI acquisition is mostly in script!
