What a great pick up gimmie. For PIL to convince the banking industry in the UK, Vietnam and Philippines that they need their services was always going to be hard task with just their current operations. This new acquisition has suddenly put them in a much better position of doing that now.
This latest deal is making a lot of sense now Imo. When talking about Banks and Fintechs relationships at the Fintech Connect Leaders Summit N.C mentions this in regards to fintechs (not sure if I have the exact words)
"get to understand how to sell at that enterprise level with banks, Their used to very professional sales people from Oracle and IMB and Microsoft, so be very conversant that your dealing with executives when your selling to a bank"
It certainly feels like the banks are in their sights.
