Its NOT the test- it is purely when the SP is unexplained when matched against its recent announcements.

I never said they automatically issue a speeding ticket when the SP surges, it is ONLY if there is no apparent reason for it that and an objective observer could discern to explain the activity.

Nyrada as an example had an absolutely bullish fantastic announcement recently. That clearly explains the SP activity and therefore no speeding ticket required. Its all about context of SP when matched with recent announcements and the companies normal trading pattern. I have seen speeding tickets issued for a piddly 15% rise, but on high volume when that company's activity was to be barely traded for months on end. APX have nothing in its recent announcements to readily explain the SP activity over the last week and especially today. That is why the ASX paused the trading independently of APX , issued its usual letter of enquiry, and now APX have requested a halt to give them time to proffer their explanation.

The awesome thing in all of this is that once the explanation has been given by APX and the shares start trading, if the SP keeps going, even if there is a 900,000,000 % increase in the SP there will not be another speeding ticket as the ASX will have covered its backside and the market will be on notice. Cheers
