You either have extremely positive (or negative) results or you don't. It should not take an hour to work out what you've got in front of you and show the market what you have been supplied with. The market has plenty of access to experts to give their take. The company can give its take on the raw data at its usual leisurely pace. And the market usually, but not always, begs to differ and sends the share price in the opposite direction. Call me a cynic by all means but I've been on the sidelines watching the stock market and participating when I had the money for over six decades. Started with Melbourne Stock Exchange then the Perth one and now the ASX. If I had Hobson's Coice between the old days of insider trading and today’s ultra-fast manipulators, give me the former. The signals were much clearer.
