While we wait here are two stories from "The Rush That Never Ended" an Australian prospecting saga.
1. In West Australia the first diggers trudged westward, and on early mornings after rain or dew the sun shone off the gold nuggets. They just had to pick them up.
2. At the same time there was a bloke with a wheelbarrow who made a fortune taking supplies west and bringing the gold back. The huge barrow had a big wheel and a strong axle and handles thirty feet long.
