... all semantics really ... SI & Co. boasted (officially) at the 2023 AGM about what a wonderful job they had done through cost cutting and subsequently 'extending their cash runway' etc only to announce a CR a couple of days later, which I will happily say on record had to already be in the works IMHO to be completed so quickly so why dangle partnership discussions to the attendees in the very same presentations ? .... and then let's not forget the "huddle" conversations afterwards ....
I would also add that in the Aug 2023 CC they repeatedly claimed how wonderful their cash position was ( Post #:69663643 ) a mere 3 months prior to the appalling 30 cent CR .... Infer from that what you will but this has been a pattern ?
Then of course you have the recent Australian Newspaper article quoted SI as saying Mesoblast are “reasonably well cashed up at the moment"and here we are yet again passing the hat around a short time after these comments were made by the looks... again (sadly) it's a pattern whether people on here like to admit it or not
I could go back to each CR if I could be bothered and show you other examples (especially in the Aust Newspaper) of how Mesoblast supposedly don't need cash to then initiate a CR soon thereafter but I simply don't have the time today .... I was trying to find the newspaper article where IMO SI made the most arrogant comment to date after a highly dilutionary CR announcement that there were "plenty of people soaking up all the shares" because he claimed similar about the cash runway in the lead up to same ...
