It could be anything. Weren't they expecting to get approval back to start Pinnacles? Maybe someone did buy Andy that shovel for Christmas? Maybe the bloke that delivered the shovels liked the look of it. Could be NST or someone connected to it, trying to get better value from the JV. Maybe they can't announce it yet, but if Pinnacles is going ahead, there's probably hundreds of people who would know before an announcement. I doubt the spike is because of Wallbrook results.

One thing though, it was reported on mining.com.au that AT said about Pinnacles "the company plans to finish and submit the mine closure plan this quarter (Q4 2024), with approvals expected in about three months." But in the presentation he gave at that conference he said "Mine proposal and closure plan being prepared for submission Q1 2025" - I mean this company and their deadlines are pretty funny at this stage anyway.
