Attended the Battery Minerals conference today...The general consensus amongst mining execs was that with a large grant from the Feds, the AVL mine is as good as over the line. Most said, if they were putting their own money up, it would be on AVL as the next vanadium producer.
The credibility that comes with a large grant is difficult to put a price on.
Either way, the vanadium industry in WA is assured.
