Australian payroll is one of the most complex in the world. There are many more companies that have or will face this very reality in Australia. You'd be lumping quite a few excellent management teams into the same bucket if you start pointing the finger at APA. Growth through acquisition in highly regulated and unionised industries only compounds the situation. this is a one off hit - assuming they correct / simplify EBA application going forward. I think, between 6 and 7 present of profit. should have very little impact in particular, when they pay the full remaining FY22 $.28 dividend. and continue this dividend growth in FY23. also noting next major debt maturity not until FY25.
