Yes a long game of losing money, offering free bets and grabbing as many customers as possible, whilst spending millions on advertising. To hopefully build up a brand name and hold those customers.. and then other competitors come into the market and offer good promos and you've got to up your game.
Owning most gambling stocks is a punt, you've got to pick the winner.
