Hmm..a bit of a mixed bag...
The bad news:
- on-site PDF is off the table
- PDF cost is slightly higher than expected
The good news:
The unknowns:
- Final hurdle to license renewal is ticked
- US$50 million is already deposited with the AELB to cover part of the $98m (initial works $10m and construction $34m)
- Balance of payments to Gading ($54m) are spread over 2023-2026 (at the time Lynas 2025 will start)
- Lynas will not have any responsibility/liability for the WLP once it leaves the LAMP
Over to Yeo...
- will Yeo release all of the US$50 million deposited with AELB?
- is Gading also responsible for transport of the WLP from the LAMP to the PDF or is this cost still with Lynas?
