Sorry - yes obviously todays release relates to the Peak Mine - I realized my error but couldn't correct it within the 3min window.

The other stuff about nominal RL's is applicable to many mines that start at surface and go deep enough to encounter the negative RL issue.

Another common one is if the orebody does has a main haulage shaft development, the bottom of the shaft is then given a new nominal RL of say 1000m RL or even 10000m RL but if the orebody is vertical and you just go with the 1000m RL you still run the risk of negative RLs in the future, if development continues far below the bottom of the shaft.

I'm sure its not a major issue now, but a lot of earlier and existing legacy engineering, geology and survey software programs didn't and still don't like negative RLs.
