re: Ann: Peak Produces First High Purity Rare... Amitz, Ngualla is on track to become the next major rare earth supplier.
    It has high grade mineralisation.
It has a simple, proven metallurgical process, supporting a low cost operation.
Has produced two refined rare earth products in a saleable form.
It has an ultra high purity 99.9% mid and heavy rare earth oxide (M +HREO)
A high purity > 99% rare earth carbonate with a grade of 56% REO.
A high purity didymium oxide sample due June.
    Followed by Cereum Oxide.
    Followed by Lanthanum Oxide.
The production of a separated high purity REO from a bulk sample which:
places Ngualla amongst a select few projects to have achieved this milestone.
Allows access to wider markets for Ngualla's products.
A 10,000 tonnes per annum production profile (as per table 2)would have a product value of US$363.9 million dollars.
The (M+HREO)critical RE'S forcast to be in under-supply, to provide 75% of the projected annual revenue.
The lower value Cerium and Lantium Oxide by products to provide 25% of the projected annual revenue.
The radioactive thorium and uranium are extremely low being below detection limits ( no lead underpants needed here.
The Pre-feasibility study now in progress, will assess the benefits of the acid leach recovery process located on site.
The extraction separation plant located off site closer to infrastructure and port facilities.
Indications are that no special permits requrired for handling and transport for transport to the separation plant.
Peak retains the option to sell some of the 56% RE Carbonate directly to a third party for separation.
Ngualla has the highest grade of the large undeveloped rare earth deposits.
Its favourable characteristics, shown in the Dec 2012 Scoping Study, has defined very low capital and operating costs compared to other rare earth projects.
Ngualla has an estimated NPV of US$1.57 billion, and pretax IRR of 53% for an initial 25 years production.
An update of the Dec 2012 Scoping Study is nearing completion an will incorporate :
    enhanced benefication processes.
A revised mining schedule based on the new high grade and increased resource model completed last month.
