Mac, you are right on this, and the problem of time running out might just get Shenge to improve their offer, so long as shareholders present at least some resistance to the takeover at the offer price. If the price offered were around the same mid-price that Peak were trading at, just before Shenge bought Appian's shares, that is about 83 cents, I might think that a reasonable outcome.
