The PEK board is recommending this scheme offer by Shenghe in the absence of a superior offer and subject to an independent expert opinion about the fairness of the proposal. Under those circumstances and the drawn out time frame, one would think that the PEK board would be full steam ahead soliciting other prospective interested parties/purchasers in the best interests of its shareholders. As pointed out by many on here, there are many many reasons why this scheme/offer is unreasonable. Lets see what develops in the next few months.
