    "Recent geopolitical and regulatory developments have increased the risks (ie Tariffs & New Chinese Govt regulatory control)
    "support greater transaction certainty" ie Total CCP ownership or the highway.

    If the CCP has the Tanz govt in their debt then the Tanz govt will never be allowed to let another party take this out of China's hand without incurring China's economic wrath, and they will not be risking that.

    Looks very much like the CCP never intended to let Peak get away with ownership.

    Not sure about local regulations but the Tanz government can certainly make it impossible for anyone other than China to operate the mine.

    I try to not to be overly suspicious but it was definitely a Lab leak
