That is very good point you make about this being a possible pathway to Safe Banking
- but imo it is still very tenuous.
(lol, even ignoring that the decision on this 'lower catagory' proposal, bizaarrely, is now in the hands of those Drug War warriors, the extremist DEA)

My admittedly sceptical view ( because of the history over the past few years) is that there is very little chance of Safe Banking getting thru the Senate in this pre-election year.

To be seen to be "soft on drugs" is a huge risk to any Republucan in these Trumpian times over there.
I know Senator Scott claims to have 10 republicans lined up - but i won't fully beleive that until i see the vote.
There are also some Democrats from the redneck states who will vote against it - so they may need more than 10 recklessly brave republicans.

Besides, the chance of Safe Banking even going to a vote this year seems to be dimminishing every week.

My point? - just a caution to not get caught up in the hysteria that the US cannabis world is going to be magicly fixed this year.... or next.
