    Actually I haven't posted here for years.

    Sure, the Australian government may support blue hydrogen, but that's not saying much. Australia has become an international embarrassment in climate. Absolute luddites.

    And yeah, you are correct, many with their heads in the sand do see blue hydrogen as an energy transition. But anyone who knows anything about how quickly we need to get off fossil fuels knows that's an outdated argument. To avoid 1.5 degrees of global heating there is now margin for new fossil fuel projects, gas or otherwise. And happily, renewables are already cheaper, and developing at light speed.

    Each to their own. This project may well get funded, but it's a terrible idea that will soon become a stranded asset.

    I'm an ex HXG holder. I have no financial interest in writing this, it's just important for all of us to speak up on any proposed fossil fuel development.
