I think the problem at the moment is that while it appears we have some exciting technology and the ability to demonstrate its cell penetrating capabilities the problem seems to be we dont have a therapeutic payload to attatch to our fpp, we dont currently have cell or organ specificity, or a proven therapeutic effect for fpp alone, and as such it doesnt matter how well we penetrate cells. Any partner would probably be asked to stump up a million or two for access to the platform and then still have to fund trials to get that combo to market. I can only assume most "payload" manufacturers would be reluctant to spend large amounts on a conjugate that they only have partial rights to. Im assuming this is why Laura Soucek hasnt gotten involved despite our promising trial results.

It seems currently although we have upgraded our tech substantially what we have is a number of fpp's that are still fairly non specific in the cells they penetrate, meaning if given intra venously as many tratments are they will just be absorbed by the first cells they come in contact with rather than specific organs. They can now scan large arrays at high speed it appears, but unless they can find more cell specific fpp's it may be hard to generate interest. At this point we dont know if fpp's are even capable of being cell specific, its not like anyone else has done it before??
It seems many of the other companies getting big deals seem to have payloads of their own or therapeutic peptides that dont require conjugated payload??
