Basalt is an extrusive rock.

Extrusives cooled faster than intrusive as in air or seawater, versus intrusives that took more time as flowed under the surface

Basalt was once a liquid and flowed in the above channels.

8 from 65.7m to 306.15m. On drill 23

1 from surface to 25.35m. On drill 25
315m spacing.

Picture voids at the time, they flowed with hot magma, filled and cooled.

Above the basalt is a thin soil layer in the drill 0.3m on hole 23.

Then intrusive, vein, intrusive, intrusive.
Ultramafic, vein, ultramafic, **bro.

Then we get extrusive basalts first layer.

But on today's hole asdd025.

No soil, no intrusives, straight extrusive basalt.
Then peg with spodumene, then intrusive **bro.

We have one wide basalt layer of 25.35m versus 8, 315m nw.

If we look at basalt depth alone, indicates the system gets shallower se direction, and deeper nw direction based on magma flow.

Drilling may correlate.

Hole 23, more nw, has 2 zones, down to 558m and open.

Hole 25, with shallower basalt has 3 zones, down to 490m.

The 3rd zone in hole 23, should be found deeper than 600m if same system as hole 25 as, explained above.

If the basalt layer thins more se if strike stays same, the system should appear on the surface.

Maybe within 300m. Possibly into zone 1 on its west, nw.

Flowing from 1 wide channel, to 8 narrow channels indicates magma flow in from se, if strike remains the same also.

The only other explanation for no intrusives and extrusive basalt on surface is severe erosion.

But I find that remote due to the thickness at hole 23 at 65m before basalt.

Its about rocks around spodumene, and what they tell you.
