Imagine pipes branching out from a volcano.
Hole 25, one, as they went nw, at hole 23, into 8 narrower and spread out.
Bit like if we look at a leaf veins, they are large, then branch out and narrow.
We know which way nutrients travelled.
Volcanics, magma and lava no difference as it travelled away and eventually ceased as those channels narrowed and stopped.
