They drilled a nickel target. Intercepted 7m of spodumene pegmatitee. But that didn't 'make the discovery'.
They did a massive mapping/rock chip campaign with a helicopter defining the different target areas. They then drilled these targets, coming back with numerous >100m intercepts @ >1% LiO2. Target Area 1, 2 and 3 were all outcropping. They weren't blind discoveries.
This is similar to what RDN did. They mapped/rock chipped and then followed up with drilling. Unfortunately, the results haven't been anywhere near as good to date at the outcropping targets. The lithium macro is also completely different. Hence the CR mid drill (they geos knew what they were looking at)-whilst they moved the rigs to other targets. Target area 7 has confirmed pegmatite sure.. But most of it appears to be unmineralised going off the logging.
