Although I haven't always agreed with Binbin - he could be meaning something else. I haven't been trading long (well I?ve held PEN for a long time though I'm not an active trader) though what I have seen is that sometimes before an announcement (when in a vulnerable position) some shares are pushed down (usually via bots) and bought up prior to announcement. For example, this seemed to have happened with SBL before their latest announcement.
It could only be the big boys, in the know and with the $$$ that have this capability though it could be a "leaky ship" trading strategy in a different sense. Who knows some of the Top20 may have increased their holdings over the past few days...?? (eg, there was half decent volume yesterday)
