Hey Bogan, from my very hazy memory, RMS did a bit of drilling after the T/O occurred, then there was only sporadic drilling with... average results again and again. Though I think the drilling was mainly focused on depth extensions, at a guess, they had hoped for easy results and high grade ones at that?
Perhaps after the initial fails, they just thought they would wait until the can get U/G drilling platforms on the go?
Lots of other possible reasons...? Drilling has been done already before RMS entered the scene?
No argument from me regarding how important more high grade ounces at Penny would be for RMS.
