And also gives a new description for supergene enrichment that I have never heard of as always noted it as mineralisation that has gravitated down through weathering and resulted in a high concentration of gold in strata that is relatively impermeable , but no we have this description by the poster :
"an oxidation process where gold is mobilised by groundwater from the primary gold lode"
