Shame that you need to do some reading as well.... as the levels by Penthrox are so much lower than what was mentioned in the book. If people abuse it, then of course it will not be good. And some sources cited are 10+ years old!! Please.. there are more studies and safer levels since then... at significant lower concentration.
Currently, hospitals are using narcotics to relief pain.. and is that better or worst than penthrox? I certainly think it's worst than penthrox.
It is already used in emergency departments in other countries, and no doubt NZ found it more beneficial enough to replace Nitrious Oxide!! That is telling....
There's one thing I can say.. is that I think its going to be worth more than $5 in a few years time...
