That is true they do have to go back to NOPTA and yes they do have to get approval from the relevant Minister but if they wanted to kill it off they could of just left it dead. If they don't approve they will be back in court again.
The East coast are going to be short over 200 petajoules of gas next year and there only two live Permits, Santos' Narrabri project and PEP11. They actually can't afford not to approve it because there is no other solution.
