Ann: PEP 11 update, page-6

To all the MPSopposed to PEP11 who keep ranting on about how the coastal residents are stronglyagainst allowing the development of the resource.

1) As I have mentioned in previous posts that the petition presented by Zali Steggall was not accepted by the Parliamentary petitions committee? WHY?

2) Are there any other verifiable petitions that can support these claims and I don’t mean FACEBOOK or Twitter.

3) Have they asked the coastal residents opinion on the proposed massive offshore windfarms for the area.

4) Do the residents realise that if PEP 11 is commercialised everything will be Sub Sea, no ghastly objects obscuring their vista of the ocean below the horizon.

5) The proposed gas supply is for use in NSW and not intended for export.

6) Globally Gas has recently classified as GREEN Energy

7) It is intended to also use the well for Carbon Capture and Storage resulting in the gas supplying the East Coast Shortfall to be carbon neutral.

By not allowing thedevelopment of PEP11 to proceed, how are the ANTI PEP 11 supporters intending to have a hot water supply and cook. Are they going to replace their existing heaters and cooking equipment so the power source used is electrical and perhaps purchase or in the process of purchasing an EMV that will also be using electrical power instead of petrol or , do they realise the Electrical Power in NSW is mostly generated from coal.

So if these supporters think that by making these costly changes they will be helping the environment they have been misled. The only people to benefit from will be the supply houses the new equipment.
