If we take your timelines as given for the sake of the argument I'd bet the next move by Husic would be to fall in line with Albo's wishes and deny the permit sometime in November. This puts the onus back on Advent to go back to court and buys the government the time they need leading up to their May election. Albo can then get on the hustings and spruik what a strong leader he is and how he promised PEP11 would not go ahead blah blah blah....

That's the easy bit for the Government. The hard bit still remains what mechanism do they use for the denial if indeed they go down that path. They still don't have a valid reason and now the NOPTA approval is in the public domain. A really shrewd move by DB and one that in my mind signals a new temperature in the fight against the Government.

I will be forwarding the announcement to all the usual media suspects in the hope that one of them picks up the story and perhaps even investigates the potential corruption here.
