I bet Keith Pitt is having a chuckle at the handling of this by Labour.
1,608 pages to try and refute a simple drill hole. Labour has a chance here to be a white knight by trying to save the East Coast gas crisis.
They will really look like fools if a resource is proven under the Libs! If I were Labour I would man up to be the instigator as the next election will be around the time that Bass Straight succumbs to depletion and the situation becomes quite dire for Gas supply on the East Coast.
