Ann: PEP 170 Surrender, page-3

Toddyman, IMO, this is excellent news for shareholders. PEP170 has been a pain in the a... for years. The greenies have got the government by the proverbials and it's only cost the company money to hang on to them, probably with very little chance of EVER getting approval while the the greenies dominate the voting in Victoria from BOTH main parties.
Drilling for fossil fuel onshore in Victoria is an absolute NO NO. I'm not making a political statement, it's a proven economic fact, check all the News Polls!!
ICON has got ONE and ONE only chance of re-birthing the company and that's to get APT855 off and running. PERIOD. Get funding to go is a critical factor, but, with a very large percentage of the initial infrastructure already IN PLACE, at and around ATP855, Icon Energy won't give a second thought for having given up on PEP170.

Now, they are officially in the first mover league and have the facts to prove it.
Let's hope that they get maximum response from all shareholders, but, particularly the Top 20.
