Apologies as I don't keep tabs on BPH HC like last time around. I made a decision to set and forget along time ago as I believe in my research and don't get involved in the crap.
But that being said....
I completely missed this post.
Newcastle Gas Dock or Gas Terminal was deemed unviable in February 2023 due to high export prices which is exactly the same reason Twiggy Forrest walked back on Port Kembla Gas Terminal recently.
No Gas terminals are being constructed in NSW anytime soon.
So one could "argue NSW is now short 50%" of the import gas that was proposed to be delivered through new projects in Newcastle and Pt Kembla which have completely vanished.
Add that to Santos decision to push Narrabri FID to 2025 I think these are extremely positive for PEP11 and BPH JVs.
It's quite simple...
Without investment the lights will go out in NSW.
The situation is now worse than ever.
Great for BPH shareholders.
Bad for NSW residents.
Headache for politicians.
