yep, agree we’re not in competition - just inevitable that we are compared to them is all.
As for bots - I know for a fact that fundies use them to enter orders, entering an amount and an algorithm into Iress - like “buy $1m worth over the day holding off the bid” - I don’t understand the details but that is one of the reasons you get all those small bids. On the other hand who knows what shenanigans are going on besides that. It’s one of the reasons I focus on the longer term and try to ignore the day to day movements fwiw. Receipe for an early grave, too much stress
